How to Find the Farmer in Enshrouded

The Farmer, Emily Fray, is one of the five foundational Springlands craftspeople. Rescuing her early secures a reliable food supply, which underpins Rested duration and combat buffs for the rest of the game.
Why rescue the Farmer early?
Emily opens the food and farming economy:
- Seedbed for growing crops
- Cooking Station, Oven, and Kitchen for prepared food
- Beehive for honey production
- Animal pens and husbandry recipes
Food from her stations provides the attribute, health, and stamina or mana buffs that make expeditions and boss fights safer.
Rescue checklist
- Continue the opening Springlands quest chain until Emily's Ancient Vault becomes available.
- Clear the vault approach and interact with her Cinder Vessel.
- Return to a base inside an active Flame Altar area.
- Craft a Summoning Staff and place Emily.
- Build the Seedbed and Cooking Station, then expand toward the Oven, Kitchen, and Beehive.
Best early follow-up
Plant a small crop rotation near a water source as soon as the Seedbed is available, then check the food and consumables guide for buff planning once you have a reliable harvest.
