Release types

  • Major update — new content, systems, or reworks (for example Forging the Path).
  • Patch — numbered fixes and smaller changes between major updates.
  • Hot fix — small, fast turnaround fixes for crashes or regressions.
  • Announcement / Community — news posts without a shipped changelog.

What this means for guides on this site

A hotfix rarely invalidates a guide. A numbered patch or major update can change Flame requirements, skill totals, drop tables, or crafting recipes. If you notice a page that looks out of date against a recent release, use the contact page to flag it.
