How to Find the Barber in Enshrouded
Rescue Elio Ricci and unlock the Coloring Station and appearance changes for your character.

The Barber, Elio Ricci, is a specialist craftsperson focused on cosmetic customization rather than combat or building progression. Rescuing him is optional for progression but useful if you want to adjust your character's appearance later in the game.
Why rescue the Barber?
Elio provides:
- The Coloring Station, for dyeing armor and clothing
- Appearance and hairstyle changes without restarting a character
Neither service affects stats, so treat this rescue as a quality-of-life addition once your core production chains are running.
Rescue checklist
- Follow Elio's associated quest marker when it becomes available.
- Clear the surrounding area and interact with his Cinder Vessel.
- Return to a base inside an active Flame Altar area.
- Craft a Summoning Staff and place Elio.
- Build the Coloring Station when his quests request it.
Best early follow-up
Rescue the Barber whenever it's convenient on the way to a foundational survivor; there is no progression cost to delaying him.
