How to Find the Collector in Enshrouded
Rescue Alden Crowley at the end of the Springlands Hollow Halls and unlock the Ectoplasm Press and ectoplasm-based items.

The Collector, Alden Crowley, is found at the end of the Springlands Hollow Halls dungeon rather than through an early main-quest Ancient Vault. Clearing the Hollow Halls is a reasonable side objective once your first base and the five foundational craftspeople are stable.
Why rescue the Collector?
Alden unlocks the Ectoplasm Press and recipes built around Ectoplasm, a material gathered from Shrouded enemies and points of interest. These items lean toward utility and mid-game crafting rather than core weapon or armor progression.
Rescue checklist
- Locate and clear the Springlands Hollow Halls dungeon.
- Reach Alden at the end of the dungeon and interact with his Cinder Vessel.
- Return to a base inside an active Flame Altar area.
- Craft a Summoning Staff and place Alden.
- Build the Ectoplasm Press when his quests request it.
Best early follow-up
Hollow Halls dungeons repeat with different difficulty across regions, so treat the Springlands version as a controlled first attempt before tackling later Hollow Halls in Revelwood or beyond.
