The Fisher, Captain Melville Fontane, is found at Ol' Captain's Rest, a coastal or waterside point of interest. He is a specialist craftsperson that opens Enshrouded's fishing systems.
Why rescue the Fisher?
Captain Fontane's stations and recipes produce:
- Fishing rods and bait
- Diving equipment for underwater exploration
- Fish-based food and crafting materials
Diving equipment is useful beyond fishing itself, since several points of interest (including the Bard's Sunken Ancient City) require underwater access.
Rescue checklist

- Return to a base inside an active Flame Altar area.
