This guide targets Enshrouded v0.9.1.2. Hotfix 42, released June 29, 2026, is the most recent published build at the time of review.
The April 2026 Forging the Path update reworked the skill tree and combat progression. Existing characters received a skill reset, and armor, shields, wards, rings, pickaxes, and felling axes became upgradeable with runes through the relevant specialist Survivor.
1.0 release
Keen Games has announced that Enshrouded leaves Early Access on October 15, 2026. The studio has said more information about new content, quality-of-life improvements, optimization, and release features will arrive before launch.
Because 1.0 can change progression data, calculators on this site state the version they target. Recheck Flame requirements, skill totals, and item recipes after major updates.
