Enshrouded Springlands Progression Guide
Plan the starting-region route through survivor rescues, early crafting, Salt, Flintstone, Shroud Roots, and Flame upgrades.
Last updated: 2026-07-27
The Springlands is Enshrouded's starting region, covering roughly levels 1-10 and Flame levels 1-2. Your main objective is to rescue the foundational craftspeople and establish the tool, food, leather, and metalworking chains needed for Revelwood.
Priority route
- Establish the first Flame Altar and Workbench.
- Craft the Glider and Grappling Hook.
- Rescue the Blacksmith.
- Rescue the Hunter and Alchemist.
- Continue the quest chain for the Carpenter and Farmer.
- Unlock the Springlands Ancient Spire.
- Clear reachable Shroud Roots and Elixir Wells for skill points.
- Gather the materials for Flame levels 2 and 3.
Important resources
| Resource | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Flintstone | Early tools and crafting |
| Salt | Dried Fur, Leather, food, and later reagents |
| Metal Scraps | Early metal tools and stations |
| Shroud Wood and Shroud Liquid | Early recipes and Flame progression |
| Clay | Appears toward the Revelwood transition |
Mines and landmarks
Springlands mines include Small Flint Mine, Egerton Salt Mines, and Saline Quarry. The Hunter's Salt Mine Location quest is the easiest guided route to a large Salt deposit.
Do not rush every Shrouded valley on the first visit. Increase the Flame and return with a longer timer, better pickaxe, and more inventory space.
Ready for Revelwood?
Move on when you have the five foundational craftspeople, reliable food and healing, current armor, a repaired pickaxe, Flame level 3, and at least one unlocked Ancient Spire.
