How to Find the Hunter in Enshrouded

The Hunter, Athalan Skree, is rescued from Ancient Vault - Hunter during Hunter Becomes The Hunted. Follow the quest marker, awaken her in the vault, then summon her at a protected base.
What the Hunter unlocks
Athalan is the ranged and survival craftsperson. Her progression includes:
- Arrows and ranged armor
- Drying Rack
- Hand Spindle
- Tanning Station
- Spinning Wheel
- Loom
- Spinning Machine
These stations turn hides and fibers into Dried Fur, Leather, Linen, and other equipment materials.
Rescue checklist
- Progress the foundational survivor quests until Hunter Becomes The Hunted appears.
- Follow its marker to Ancient Vault - Hunter.
- Bring a Grappling Hook, basic healing, and repaired equipment.
- Awaken Athalan and return to your base.
- Place her with the Summoning Staff and provide shelter.
Best early follow-up
Athalan's first quests include Salt Mine Location, which marks a major deposit at Egerton Salt Mines. Salt powers Dried Fur and later Leather production, so complete that route before attempting a large armor batch.
