Enshrouded Veilwater Basin Region Guide
Plan the Veilwater Basin route through Drak'Dal Temple, Gold Ore and Aquamarine mining, and the final Hydrak'Dal fight.

The Veilwater Basin is a biome of tropical lakes and sandy beaches covering roughly levels 35-45 and requiring Flame level 8-9. Added in the Wake of Water update, its lakes are fed by meltwater from the Albaneve Summits and form the largest remaining source of surface water uncorrupted by the Shroud. It connects south to Revelwood and east to the Albaneve Summits, and its Drak'Dal Temple hosts the final current boss, Hydrak'Dal.
Priority route
- Enter with Flame level 8 gear and the Fell Dragon Youngling Head already collected.
- Unlock the Veilwater Basin Ancient Spire.
- Rescue the Fisher, Captain Melville Fontane, at Ol' Captain's Rest and pick up diving equipment for underwater sections.
- Work through the Drak quest line toward the Drak'Dal Temple.
- Clear nearby Gem Forges and Night Sanctums for additional gear along the way.
- Gather the final Flame level 9 materials, then attempt Hydrak'Dal.

Mines and landmarks
The Aquamarine Mine and a Mining Rift are the region's main mining sites. Points of interest include Capybara Oasis, Goldrock Saddle, and the multi-part Drak'Dal Temple dungeon. Native wildlife includes hostile Crabs and peaceful Capybara.
Preparing for Hydrak'Dal
