Enshrouded Kindlewastes Region Guide
Plan the Kindlewastes desert route through Brittlebush's Haunted Sun Temple, Lapislazuli mining, and the Fell Sicklescythe fight.
Last updated: 2026-08-08
The Kindlewastes is a harsh desert biome covering roughly levels 20-30 and requiring Flame level 5 to enter safely. It sits east of the Nomad Highlands and connects north to the Albaneve Summits. The Shroud divides it into a level 20-25 northern section and a level 25-30 southern section, so treat the border as a soft difficulty gate rather than a single uniform zone.
Priority route
- Enter from the Nomad Highlands once Flame level 5 materials are gathered.
- Unlock the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire for fast travel and a regional save point.
- Push toward Brittlebush and clear the nearby Haunted Sun Temple to fight the Fell Sicklescythe.
- Work outward to the other Sun Temples and settlements (East Lapis, Sapphire Strand, Zephyr, Shorewatch, Low Tide) as gear allows.
- Clear the Kindlewastes Hollow Halls for Elite Hollow gear once your build can handle it.
- Gather Flame level 6 materials before pushing into the Albaneve Summits.
Important resources
| Resource | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Lapislazuli | Kindlewastes-exclusive mining material used in gear and Flame recipes |
| Iron Ore | Continued metalworking through the desert region |
| Sand, Sandstone, Sulfur | Construction and crafting materials unique to the biome |
| Aloe, Yucca Fruit, Saffron | Regional food and alchemy ingredients |
| Palm Wood Logs | Desert-specific wood for carpentry recipes |
Mines and landmarks
Key mines include the Ternion Mine and Ridgeback Mine. The Haunted Sun Temple at Brittlebush is the fastest route to the Fell Sicklescythe fight, while the other four Sun Temples (north-west, east, south-east, south-west) offer repeatable loot once the region feels safe.
Watch for Scavenger and Vukah camps, plus a Hollow-guarded tomb near East Lapis. A Fell variant of the native Draconian Vulture appears inside Shroud pockets.
Ready for the Albaneve Summits?
Move on when you have Flame level 6 materials, a full Kindlewastes-tier gear set, and cold-resistant food or armor ready for the frozen mountains ahead. The desert's heat mechanics do not carry over, so re-check your Comfort and warmth setup before the climb.
