Scan open Nomad Highlands terrain for clumps of bright yellow rock; they stand out clearly against the region's limestone. If you push further south into the Kindlewastes, additional deposits appear along the way.
How to collect Sulfur efficiently
- Bring a repaired pickaxe and inventory space; Sulfur stacks up to 50.
- Sweep open terrain rather than dense Shroud pockets, since deposits sit in normal ground.
- Mine every visible clump along your route rather than backtracking for single deposits.
What Sulfur is used for
Sulfur is a key alchemy ingredient, used in Black Powder, Enshrouded Oil, and later Alchemist recipes like Shroud Meteor and Eternal Light Burst. It also appears in Hunter recipes such as the Poisoned Iron Arrow. Stockpile a surplus while passing through the Nomad Highlands, since later recipes call for 20-30 at a time.
