Shroud Wood comes from corrupted trees growing inside Shrouded areas, starting in the Springlands. Unlike most early materials, you have to enter the Shroud itself to collect it, so treat every trip as a timed run.

Any patch of Shroud in the Springlands with standing trees will have Shroud Wood available. Pick a spot close to a safe exit or an Ancient Spire so you can leave quickly once your Shroud timer runs low.

- Bring a repaired axe; Shroud Wood is felled like normal timber.

What Shroud Wood is used for
Shroud Wood is required to strengthen the Flame to level 3, and it appears in Carpenter recipes such as the Advanced Glider. Because it only drops inside the Shroud, most players gather a surplus during Shroud Root or Elixir Well runs rather than making dedicated trips.
