The Fell Thunderbrute is the first miniboss most players meet, and the usual quest route leads to an Elixir Well east of Braelyn Bridge in the Springlands. Thunderbrutes also guard later Elixir Wells, Shroud Roots, and points of interest, so the fight repeats throughout early progression.

Strategy
- Fight from the edge of its melee range until the current swing sequence finishes.
- Dodge across or around the attack rather than retreating in a straight line for the entire fight.
- Use the recovery after a heavy swing for a short combo, charged shot, or spell.
- Preserve enough Shroud time to destroy the Elixir Well root after the fight.
- Ranged characters should keep moving instead of relying on one ledge or terrain exploit.
This fight also introduces Runes, which is Enshrouded's system for upgrading armor, shields, wards, rings, pickaxes, and felling axes. Expect the early Runes here to be modest compared to later regions.
